My Priorities for Candidacy
As a candidate for Staunton's City Council, I hope to collaborate with businesses, citizens and leaders across our wonderful city to grow together in many different areas.
Increasing tourism
Expand the City of Staunton’s arts and music scene in order to draw people to the community.
Affordable housing
Align zoning and urban planning to allow for sustainable and affordable housing within the City of Staunton.
Tax relief
Work toward new measures to allow tax relief to the citizens of Staunton through alternative revenue streams.
Community collaboration
To explore new ways for city leaders to collaborate with citizens, businesses, and
organizations to create accessible opportunities within the community.
Hearing from you!
My first priority in serving Staunton is to hear from the community and ensure each voice is heard. Let’s keep growing together!
Blake's Listening Tour (B.L.T.)
You are my first priority.
Throughout my campaign, I hope to meet with and listen to as many community members as I can to better understand each citizen's needs. With your support, we'll be able to continue working together as I serve on the Staunton City Council.
